The Programme

Established in the year 2002, the Department offers a 4-year B.Tech Degree programme in Mechanical Engineering, with an annual intake of 60 students to develope the working skills of the students.

The Staff

The Department has 19 (5 Professors, 4 Associate Prof.,10 Asst.Professors) and also has 3 lab assistants to develop the students in academic wise as well as their technical skills. Our staff members are well qualified doctorates and M.tech.

Distinctions

The department has conducted various national workshops and college level seminars and has expert lecturers to uphold the students technical skills.It under took the students to visit various famed industries like BHEL, HCL, BDL etc. The academic performance of the students has been consistently outstanding, among the affiliate colleges.The average pass percentage is 90% ,of them 45% have gone abroad for pursuing their higher studies and other 45%were selected by reputed companies like ONGC, SAIL, HMT, BDL, ORDL, WIPRO, SATYAM, INFOSYS.

Seminars

For every semester we conduct FOUR seminars for the students on their respective topic. Seminars are held for every branch for the difficult subjects. The seminars will be given by the intellectual persons and the Industry experts. These persons are highly skilled and embedded with a great technical knowledge who are able to uphold the students skills.
